This free online training course is intended as an introduction for individuals who are new to the idea of Trauma & Trauma Informed Care.
This course will provide you with a basic definition and Trauma and a brief history of the Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs) research that has led to our current understanding about the importance of this topic.
Finally, this course will provide a basic outline and intent of the Trauma Informed Care Framework developed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association (SAMHSA).
